A wise man once said: "You keep staring into your competition, and your products will end up looking like their ass"....
Excuse the language...
but there is a lot of wisdom in that saying.
Competitive analysis, keeping an eye on your competitors and all that is fine...
but it's never the key to create greatness.
You stand out from competition by freeing yourself from getting locked up in the game of competition, and saving your energy to reach out to your own best ideas and then work your butt off executing upon them.

Hi Reem Boudraa, Excellent Question! As a company, employers believe that Competition is a Positive Thing.
Competition brings Better Services and Better Prices to the Community.
The best-bet would be to Launch something New, Innovative and Exceptional Product / Business / Venture into the Market which are Rare and Unusual to Stand-Out from Competitors.

A healthy brand is one that puts users' insights at heart rather than putting first what the brand is hoping to achieve.
By looking at users needs and motivations rather than always looking at what competitors are doing a brand is most likely to succeed through innovation and new product development.
That will differentiate the brand from competition and will make it stand out from the crowd.

For me starting off with a SWOT analysis of your competition and your product is the best way to start off.

Some of the things that can make your products stand out from others are: - Raising awareness about your company/products - Highlighting what you have that your competitor don't - Focusing on your strengths and diminishing your weaknesses without engaging in unhealthy competition - Better quality - Bigger quantity - Competitive prices - Great advertising that shows your products as must-haves or part of a certain lifestyle everyone wants to acquire - Attractive and catchy labeling/branding - Effective marketing strategy both online and offline

Be unique and understand your audience's needs.
Concentrate on how you can make your products and services better.
It is never wrong to set a benchmark.
Finally, make sure you understand your people and how you can provide them your services.
