A Chief should be well aware of past, present and specially future dynamic changes globally that directly or indirectly effect relevant organization and should have leadership and decision making qualities to coup with above mentioned changes for the betterment of the organization.

I must say that a Chief means all in all in the company responsible foe profit or loss so he/she should be mentally strong enough to take decision even in crunch situation and do not get panic.
