Culture shock is inevitable to any first time visitor.
You deal with culture by reading on the destinations culture before you visit and inquire from other people who have been to the destination on their experiences.
once you get to the destination be observant on their way of life and cope .
Dear Ms Duaa,
What kind of cultural shock you mean.. First of all you should know the city where you gonna visit. Because India has many languages depends on the location & you will find different culture as you go each places. But if you are visiting in main cities you can easily deal with people who speak in English.
try to read about the country
use the search to find the most interested places to visit
try to ask any friend in India for the help
but any how the person who is manage to travel abroad should be ready to deal with any kind of people and any kind of culture
1. Get an “informant”
2. Every day make yourself find something that you like about the culture
3. Be a tourist
4. Do something that takes courage every day
5. Go for walks
6. Do your research
That's a good news. May be you are going for your match. Congrats and all the best if my guess is right. I think there will not be much of cultural shock. Only problem you may not be having people communicating in English and Arabic, if you have people around your own, that shouldn't be a problem. Also India is a huge country and it has got its own culture within the respective regions. Btw, which place you are traveling to in India.?
Bon Voyage.
Try to adapt as much as possible
The human he can adapt himself, but don’t cede religion, principles and traditions
culturally India is a library, as the place changes their culture also changes, in India there where about 2000 local languages in 29 states. Its difficult to communicate with people in remote areas as most of them cant talk English, but in urban areas it is much different.
first of all you should have a clear idea where to you are arriving, so that you can make a good plan. Be alert.
