In brief my advice is as follows:

1.    Scan the economic and business environment

2.    Propose several options for investment opportunities which you like best and you have interest.

3.    Assess the risk factors for different options and the strategies required to manage the risk.

4.    Make a capital budgeting and see which is the best alternative financially.

 

5.    Now refine  the selected alternative and move on 

Focus on 4 W's What, When, Where, Whom (What product or services you want to sell, When to start your business, Where to market, Whom "your target customer") Or 4 P's Product, place, price, promotion
