§ What about online leadership? There is no “non-verbal” component (you cannot “read” the other person via email).
§ Instead, the structure of words in digital communications can influence reactions: full sentences, phrases, USING ALL CAPS, formality, importance/urgency, style (emoticons, jargon, abbreviations, etc). Messages can convey trust, status, task directives, or emotional warmth.

The following contemporary issues affecting leadership.
1. Steering the financial health of the organization when we are moving to globalized economy
2. The power full antisocial elements in the society which damage the organizational repute through scam e.g. share market scam
3. Short product life cycle due to changing consumer behavior and IT related innovation ( e.g. within a year, there was several model of Samsung edge mobile).
So, in order to cope with the above noted issues, the leadership has to think proactively to equip him with global economic situation, latest product knowledge and risk management skills and integrate these variables with his own conviction to pursue the organization’s mission.
The leader need to implement management of risk , management of change and management of innovation across the whole hierarchy of the organization with full commitment from people to remain on the top of business
