What is the critical loading case when you design a swiming pool ?

1- During Construction: The critical load case is during the pool test which is the pool structure will be full of water without any backfilling outside the pool.

2- At permanent stage: The critical load case is during maintenance of the pool which is the pool will be empty of water and the earthpressure will present alone.

*Note: if the GWT is higher than the pool foundation/formation level so, the beyonce (Uplift) effect shall be checked.
