A well designed Ad with an excellent conceptual message could always be memorable. It should be balanced between the design and message you want to deliver to people.
A memorable ad is one that leaves an impact, whether positive or negative. We always remember what we like and dislike. I personally think that what makes an ad memorable is a good jingle that sticks in the head and an original/very creative concept that we can still recall years after.
