First you need to take into account that people skim online rather than reading the whole paragraph as well in hard copy , so try to make it scannable by dividing your topic to sub headings using Italian and bold style , also try to use colors + images to attract the attention . More important try to use simple words to fit all users. To be self-published try to have your own logo which you can put it after your writings

It is an introductory guide to the major self-publishing options available to authors today, and how to choose the right service and approach for you.
Here’s the “too long, didn’t read” version if you’re looking for my service recommendations:
These services provide little or no assistance. That means you have to do all the work of preparing and uploading your files for publishing and distribution. If you’re looking for a fair service provider (or a one-stop shop) to help with print and ebook formatting, design, and distribution, try BookBaby.
Choose the publishing house which appeals to you. They will walk you through every step of the way by communicating through email as well as on the phone. Consultants will be assigned in different stages of the publishing process. The first consultant will hear all about your requirements and suggest the package. It contains details of what you would like to see in the making of your book. Submitting your manuscript online using the guidelines is the second stage. This task is covered by another consultant. What I am trying to say is, when you have your book published online, you will be able to see your dream come true the way you want by being guided by the publishing house. You are in charge in every step of the way. It is like having a house built in front of your eyes based on your design.
Online publishing is still rather amateurish for starters. People who are the most read and respected in online publishing are already established authors in print, traditional media. Online publishing is fine for a practice, a rehearsal, really. Besides, it is a good ego booster to start with:)-
