Communication..t

Realistically speaking this maybe the most important skill a designer will utilize throughout their career. The ability to communicate is fundamental to everything a designer does (While knowing technology is essential, if a graphic designer does not learn the difference between families and styles of type, or how and when to best use them, they will not be fluent enough to communicate. ), but this task does not begin or end with visual communication.Designers have to be able to articulate their ideas and concepts to employers and clients with ease and fluently. In addition graphic designers need to be able to write well organized briefs, proposals and instructions.

90 percent of the time, in order to land a project, this will require good communication skills. Once you have the project, it really helps when you can easily communicate with your clients or other team members. A lot of design requires good communication, from extracting accurate requirements, discussing changes and options, explaining how to utilize a tool or why something just simply won't work.

for that's reason i think who has not this skill must be and nowaday  go in  development this skill by anyway whatever ,courses or training in special carrier.                                                                                                                    y

Attention to detail and with good analysis. It is important for a designer to understand and to identify to achieve what his/her clients wants/needs.

Though taking communication skills training is important to improve the effectiveness of your communication and strengthen interpersonal relationships, there's no need to be a mandatory. Even if the person is taking some kind of training but don't know how to pay attention or even don't know how to inter-act or unsociable with other co-members, the training course would still be useless. This would also reflect to the personality of the person.

Communication skills is the most basic and vey indispensable reqirements in all human  interactions and daiily  actiivities in life. It is our means to transmit information, thought, or feeling so that it is satisfactorily received or understood to achieve and accomplish a common goal.

In my opinion?

Honestly speaking communication skills is part of being creative strategy for Graphic Designer already, and I don't think it's necessary to take communication skill courses or it's not really mandatory for Graphic Designer just for the sake of INTERACTION. They will gain it naturally because they HAVE A LOT OF PATIENCE AND THEY ARE JACK OF ALL TRADE CREATURES.

IN SHORT WE USUALLY PUT OURSELVES IN OTHER PEOPLES SHOES that's why it is easier for us to communicate specially experienced Creative Graphic Designer.

Tell me how we put ourselves in peoples shoes? WE HAVE TO FEEL EVERYTHING, WE HAVE TO FEEL YOU AND WE HAVE TO BE YOU... then how? THEN WE HAVE TO BE MORE EXPERIENCED AND HONE OUR SKILLS THROUGH NIGHT AND DAY BRAIN SHIFTING JOB. MEET DIFFERENT PEOPLE, EVEN WE DON'T LIKE THEM.

For example in Outward Interaction [ Communication Skills ]

Graphic Designers need team mates that knows exactly what they are doing so the team could work flawlessly and most of the time in my past experience WE ARE ONLY TALKING, KNOWS HOW TO COMMUNICATE VERY WELL BUT LACKING IN RESULT.  IN THE END, its the Graphics Designers job to push whatever project it is. It is the Graphic Designers job to recall all the necessary details and imagine them together to be able to catch the right word for our CLIENTS to understand our inputs in basics, but our imaginations are broad and these are not into basic.

Literally speaking we have to come down the ladder just for you to catch up the right word. No offense.

Communication skills  IS IN NEED FOR EVERYONE nowadays

But needs to focused more in REALISTIC AND HONEST Method -

Which is separate input for Graphic Designers if you intend that it's a mandatory. Not just GENERAL METHOD that you see in advertised crash courses online.

I just hope no one is pissed off in my opinion. Peace be with you.

Designers must know the language of ART....not the art of language...

Graphic designers should have the basic communication skill for understanding the brief or nature of the project. I don't think it's the last word when we measure their skills. As an artist he should communicate through his creations.
