We have to mix the both Vertical & Horizontal in order to have an effecient Organization Set in an Organiztion as per the requirements of the Processes & Functions and also the size of the company.

Well for me the answer will be horizontal growth because its the best growth in terms of technicality.

As we go vertical we are more into the management part were might after a time can be a loss of technical things.

Vertically structured, or "tall" companies have a chain of management, usually with a CEO at the top making decisions and then delegating authority to lower-level managers, according to allbusiness.

Horizontal, also called flat, companies have almost no middle managers--meaning that high-level managers handle day-to-day tasks and usually interact with customers and frontline employee's personally.  So Horizontal management is good.
