Being a manager is about establishing good and effective work environment for your subordinates as well as setting up efficient processes and practices. For warehouse manager it's crucial to always improve and imagine better ways to provide services. One thing that I found extremely helpful in my time as warehouse executive is cross training of my staff. My entire team was knowledgeable in all aspects of warehouse operations. From receiving/issuing personnel, warehouse coordinators to forklift operators and pickers. They all know how do the processes work and what is their purpose in this chain as well as purpose of all other personnel.
