What do you think new technique or method being introduced in human resource management since 2015?

I think there are changes in the employee appraisal system especially in IT industry small firms and start ups give increments in 6 months time for good performance , job satisfaction for employees by bringing out new trends in promoting work-life balance, Hiring efforts are more online and social media based.
