We now live in the world where Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Social Media work. Where Alibaba, Amazon, ebay thrive. So my question, why still a sales person think of moving to a better market/geography?

Well Saju that is what I said - that we now live in the world where Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Social Media work. Where Alibaba, Amazon, ebay thrive. All is because of Internet and yes Social Media is the main focus. But my question is, that in spite of the above why a sales person still try to think to move to a better geography or market. In other words why he/she move from one place to the other, like many people from India move to Canada or USA or elsewhere. Why a person move away from his/her home town to big city. As today the world is under our finger tips through keyboard / cell phones / tablets or simply apps.

Internet is a Market of Markets. Those who use and update their market strategies to accommodate these newer trends only can thrive in coming era. Currently, social medias are the prime focus of marketing, where half of world population now connected and interacting.
