Of course sir in today's world its English but i have seen in some exhibitions in Pakistan that Chinese really prefer there own language and sometimes its hard to communicate with them. Constituting a large population of the world i believe Chinese is also a very important language. Afterwards there is Arabic, it will be really helpful favorable for you.
If you will learn Urdu you will survive in the subcontinent i.e India/Pakistan that combinely constitutes a larger population then China.
Generally English is considered the language most in demand but we don't have any data on this issue. We see that other languages, Arabic, Chinese, French, Japanese and German are also being learned by a large number of people to get opportunities of study and job in the countries using these languages.
Certainly the English language, because it is the language of the times, and are required to work.
