This depends on the type of commodity to be sold, there are kinds of goods can not be sold abroad, but I better sales abroad as it allows me to communicate with a large number of different people, different cultures and customs
Well, it all depends on the product/services on offer. If the type of sales demands outdoor activity, no matter what you have to do that so as to get the best results and the same applies for indoor activities as well.
The basic difference is that whether the business requires you reaching the customers or the customer reaching you and how the same goal is achieved.

Both because each one of the advantages of the tasks and challenges are different from each other as well as to increase the salaries, bonuses
I prefer both; on certain days I will be working outdoor when dealing with clients or suppliers, and on other days I will be indoor dealing with the load of paperwork :)
I prefer both, if you are skillful you can score in both...

As my colleagues answers it depend on many circumstances , but as for me I like them both , because
Sales job is same everywhere ,But , Indoor sales less challenging .
