1. Logical thinking ( e.g. if i can't achieve individual goal, team goal wouldn't be achieved)
2. Linear thinking ( e.g. i can't achieve individual goal---team will not achieve goal---organizational goal wouldn't be achieved).
3.systematic thinking ( i can't achieve target sales, there is a flaw in my marketing strategy...this leads to ....a, b,c.complicated issues)
4. Holistic thinking ( i would see the whole picture , a complex set of problems)
Confront and solve problems need to be thinking about using thinking skills, which are related to sensory perception, information and expertise, treatment, and avoid obstacles and errors. For the success of this method it is necessary to correct psychological preparation and readiness of good mental problem during the confrontation and exposure to solve them. We also stress the need to reflect subsequent solutions and their consequences and learn from mistakes, and that the knowledge and awareness of methods and tools critical and creative thinking both available
4. Holistic thinking (i would see the whole picture, a complex set of problems)
I'd go for A - logical thinking although I have to slightly oppose on the description. It is true that every one else in the team has to contribute to achieve team goals but ones failure won't automatically lead to team failure if others member can compensate on it. But of course, all team members has to work hard and reach their own target for team performance efficiency.
Thanks for invite , my self I choice all four choices , cause the complex problem had many different sides , and every side need a different approach to solve it , eg. some problem need administration , and financial , gov. lic and so on
This a very interisting question as varied individuals will solve the problem in many a differnet manner. I do agree with Loraine that I do not agree with the descriptions for each. In my opinion any problem complex or simple always has a simple solution. I personally am a Holistic Thinker, which means I tend to look at the bigger picture first, this gives a complete overview of the problem areas. I then tend to put on my Systematic Thinking cap and approach the problem from differenet angles until I manage to find a solution.
Thank you for invitation
I will choose all of them , just because each problem needs different kind of solving type.
Choice No.4
it's approperiate for me
Which way of thinking you used to solve complex problems at workplace? please choose one from the following?
GIVEN BELOW IS THE CORRECT ANSWER:
4. Holistic thinking ( i would see the whole picture , a complex set of problems)
You have to work with one of the troubleshooting methods.
Sincerely, I opt for PDCA (Deming wheel) which is a structue method that helps solve the problem step by step.
P: Plan and study the existing
D: Do, to engage in achieving
C: Check, check the utility
A: Act, correct the errors
Is if you want to return to the origin of the problems, I suggest for you 5Why method, which is to ask 5 times the question (why) until come back to the root cause (human-caused).
I think the choice 3 is the closest to this approach.
about me choice 4 .
Now the trend is to think out of the box or innovative thinking.
So I would opt for Answer 4. Holistic thinking. Holistic thinking incorporates all other thinking i.e. linear, logical and systematic thinking and try to arrive at a best solution.
