Fully trusting employees could be a mistake when you really trust your employees then you find out that some of them have taken advantage of that !

My previous work , I tried to cover a region by stock (for the first time) in short time , so I sent the assigned  team but without enough stock (Because I did not planing well for this venture and did not ask to make a survey before this visit) any way results were ; shortage in distribution  , because we did not expect there will be a huge demand . that was very important lesson (Always be ready for demand even if you were not expecting it ). next days I sent them again to compensate the shortage ...

 For me, Losing the physician prescriptions or sales order to other competitor medical brands was a real blow financially to  Pharma company  I employ for and to my morale perspective too When happens, I think while: " Am I failed to manage my call?  Am I have a flaw in my presentation or negotiation skills?I actually volunteer  myself  to lead the analysis of what happens  and see what I could learn? The lesson I have learned is that I should never take a physician or a hospital pharmacists as a major client for granted  and to never, ever settle for a good-enough advertising and detailing pitch.  I thought I have to hit all of my presentations out of the park. And I can honestly say that I 've done so ever since   and it has led to a increased sales record of a year for my champions product line. Personally, I learned that I need to pay more attention to the selling skills and emotional intelligence to read the silent  needs of the client or why he prescribe the brand then modify my call accordingly, I learned to read between the lines more as a result, learning from mistakes in my Call helped me to successfully tackled competitor brands later on.

The few common mistakes normally management doing: 

Not communicating. Information is power, making it tempting to keep it to yourself.

Not listening. The more you listen, the more you understand your team’s constructive ideas and contributions, as much as their needs and concerns.

Not team-building. The power of management success lies in the power of your team to work as an indivisible unit. 

Not motivating. Never forget though, your team is made up of people who each make a contribution to your joint success or failure. 

 Not explaining the bigger picture. Don’t condemn your team to work blind on tasks they don’t understand.

Not setting goals. Effective managers set clear goals. Not delegating. Delegation is about entrusting your authority to others, so can be a bit scary.

 

Not adapting. In uncertain times, playing safe is a no-no..

• Are you self-aware enough to acknowledge failure and weakness?

• Do you take smart risks?

• How do you view success, failure, and risk in general?

After all, if you’ve never failed, then you’ve probably never succeeded on any significant level either. Prospective employers want to know: Do you know how to fail smart and learn from your mistakes?

The most common phrasing of the question is the simple, “Tell me about a time when you failed” or “Tell me about a failure.” There are some other variations on this theme as well:

• What’s your greatest professional failure?

• Tell me about a mistake that you made.

• What was your biggest mistake and what did you learn from it?

• Tell me about a decision that you regret.

• What’s your greatest professional regret?
