The user is unable to perform any task whatsoever. Antivirus is Mcafee Ver.10. Processor usage remain1-10 percent and RAM usage is below50 percent still the system remains extremely slow for a day or so and then automatically comes to routined speed. What is the reason behind the issue?

Hello Mr. Hassan Nasir,

I think there are three reason for slow your pc

1 Check your network driver and connection with HUB may be HUB problem.

2 The anti virus your using Macfee what version check it.

3. Clean your cookies and internet history.

I hope this will help you..

your System has virus infected so you need to scan your system with the McAfee Virus Scan.

HI Hassan,

Seems like the On demand scheduled scans runs on a particular day due to which the machine runs slow.

This usually happens on enterprise version of McAFee and Symantec when they are managed client.

Can you confirm do you have McAFee management console access

Regards,

There must be a time bomb kind of virus in your machine through which the hacker use to retrieve data on the same period of time. it might send the information without your knowledge and approval.

You should:

Uninstall any spyware/freeware apps from your machine (specially torrents)

Scan your machine thoroughly by taking your hard disk off and attach with any other machine that has updated anti virus installed.

Hope your issue will be resolved

Danish
