- its easy to maintain & change the Load/ Current Voltage of AC Electricity for transmission & Distribution, but for DC Power transmission its require to provide (Converter, inverter) and Generator DC Power Plant , Rectifiers, Backup Battery, Circuit Breaker\\ Fuse, Cable Earth, distribution...ect.

It is easy to step down and step up AC.Also in the case of DC transmission we need rectifier and inverter at sending end and receiving end respectively.It's cost is high.
