NSAID causes the Deficiency of prostaglandins, inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase. Prostaglandins produced from arachidonic acid in present of cyclooxygenase. Prostaglandins responsible for pain, takes part in immune system, it is responsible for uterin contraction at the time of delivery. The use in animals causes the death of birds which eat the dead bodies of animals.
