I think that, to be effective leaders we should be most respected and the most productive in workplaces, and  often the first to be considered for a promotion opportunities. So it's definitely worth the effort to enhance our career . Also, a leader must make sure that you devote time towards further learning and career development. I might consider yourself to be 100% effective at work, have challenging opportunities and use them effectively, but the truth is that most of us have strengths and weaknesses that impact our effectiveness .For instance, perhaps we've always excelled at time management. But how much time do we put into learning new skills, or staying on top of industry trends. Or, maybe you're adept at managing the considerable demands you face day-to-day. But, when things get really chaotic, your communication skills start to suffer as stress levels begin to rise. So, being truly effective leader can pay off now and throughout our careers, to get through exciting projects, win important clients, and are well respected by their colleagues and subordinates, therefore we should make sure we don't miss out on great opportunities and focus on self and career development.

Yes of course we lost many opportunities in our jobs and in our life but we lost it because we don't had enough view or we didn't found the person to advice us and we didn't had the required experience....

I messed up many times and I succeeded many times.

I didn't make the right decisions a lot, and made many right decisions.

I made many mistakes, and I made many achievements.

I disappointed many people, and I exceeded the expectations of many people.

I missed on many opportunities, and I grabbed many other opportunities.

I failed often and I succeeded often. I recognize this and I admit it.

But in the messing up I made, I found out how to succeed.

In the wrong decisions I made, I found the right decisions.

In the mistakes I made, I found how to achieve.

In the disappointment I caused to people, I found how exceed people's expectations.

In the opportunities I missed, I found out how to grab opportunities.

In darkness, I see light. In mistakes I see righteousness. In failure, I see success.

Think in a different way.

You missed sea of opportunities, but you  gained ocean of more .

You regretted  the  measly tangibles, but you got host of  these .

You survived today, for better tomorrows for yourself and your progeny.

You trained today,to get more dividends in the future.

So  all of us need to write a book after 60 years.Title?

NO REGRETS!

Most of us live life satisfied!

Intangibly,of course!

Yes, of course I have let down few opportunities in my career, due to either in favour of family, which i don't regret.

But few opportunities, which i have left, due to fear of failure, are regretted in my life as a lost opportunity. But I have one policy, what ever happens is good for me, which keeps me looking for next opportunity.
