Thanks

No, they are not .

First of all , Leaders & Managers are human beings at the end , and their decision goes right once & wrong sometimes.based on circumstances, organization environment, culture, ....

Anyways how to tell them , that their ideas were wrong , there are many ways :

  • Send an e-mail to him showing your ideas in Diagrams, Numbers, Results, to prove your opinion.
  • Arrange a meeting with him and show him the results of his decision comparing with yours.
  • Use What if method, to compare your ideas Vs. his thought.
  • Ask him to let you  take the next chance of making decision and compare the results with him

But do not forget to do all or one of these tips only between you and him not in public.

I dont believe that a manager is always right, a manager might have abit more training or experience in something, how ever no person thinks and interpret something the same way, you as a line supervisor should always be open to suggestions and questions, your way of approaching a situation may be right, but someone else might have a better idea of doing it!
