I manage my time and team's workload and hit deadlines, through utilizing the following simple strategy to prioritizing important projects and consume time:

1-Collect a list of all my tasks.

2-Identify urgent vs. important.

3-Assess value of each task.

4-Order tasks by estimated effort.

5-Be flexible and adaptable.

6-Know when to cut deadlines.

I make it a point to create a list of all my tasks starting from the most important to the least and from urgent up to those activities which do not require urgency or deadline. Aside from that I also save all of it on my phone's calendar to remind me before its deadline. That way I won't be behind or won't forget anything. I also make sure that I allot more than enough time for every task so I won't need to get anxious especially if deadline is nearly approaching.

making a schedule every hourly with specific tasks written down be it in a journal or ms.word allows one to notice if he/she is falling behind or is on time with the tasks in hand for the day. Major tasks could be conducted at the beginning of the day where the employee is motivated and enthusiastic and lighter tasks towards the end of the day.

I have a very strict daily time schedule for my all meetings / activities, esp, top priority items first and  stringently following as per time schedule without any excuse and it would remind me time to time by my personal secretary. Even though, it happened to me that I could not follow my time schedule during my business trip with different countries due to flight delay, flight cancellation, pick up agency would not come to the arrival terminal on time, different delegation would not reach on time for the meeting and so on.
