How is the pump field related to piping field? As I'm currently working in pumps manufacturing company, will this enhance my future in the piping industry?

There is a big difference between a dynamic and a static equipment. In pumps manufacturing you may or may not experiences a lot in the piping industry.

Pumps and pipeline though are interconnected. They are different branches and both need specialized knowledge

They are two different fields. They overlap only in the case of cross-country pipelines but even then, your pump industry will dominate.Piping is a completely different field from pumping. Piping engineers can be recruited serately from Pump-experts. The Piping man is required to know all about pipe stresses, anti-corrosive treatment, wrapping and coating, pipeline laying, forces that will act on the pipe, supports required etc.

there is a  deference between the two pump field  while and experience  in previous field  piping layout while making  the installation  between  the dischage line an  suction  line

there is a big deference between the two field but the experience in the previous  field " PIPING " Will be useful when you make installation for anew pump with discharge and suction piping

If you want to further your career in piping, you want to try to work on pump applications in pump packages.

you have to calculate the discharge and head (q&h) for the requested pump for any system at the sam=e time you have to add the loos due to the length of the pipes and relayted connections ( elbows - valves -.... etc ) , but the manufacturing of pipes are so different than the previous , we have steel pips and pvc and othres with different diameteres 

The pump is fundamental in the pipe, without pump the pipe is useless.

you may have to calculate pipe diameter and pipe lenght which suitable for pump as its type
