In my opinion , as the characteristic nature of insurance is international , therefore unless the local regulations state otherwise , the foreign companies or investors have the alternative and option to insure their interest or properties abroad or outside the country with international market insurer if they wishes to do so  or the other option to insure their properties inside the country with local insurer. Such insurance coverage of properties of course including medical insurance and employee insurance coverage.

Hence it depends to the insured desire. I hope that my answer is clear and satisfactory .
