It is essential for the Project Manager to have a healthy relationship with the team. Not having a healthy relationship is actively dangerous for the project and the company. Good people will leave, everybody will be less efficient and less innovative, the working atmosphere may become unpleasant and in the very worst cases disgruntled staff may actively sabotage the project.

In my professional experience I do found the best way to keep a bonding with team and respect to each individuals , keep in touch in various ways we can. Rewards and recognition , appreciation, encourage, nominations for various training program and must talk with each individual whenever possible. As a leader we must know their skills and know their career aspiration. People connect would be the best way to maintain healthy relationship and its better to discuss with them if there is any serious challenge and we do need each one of them support rather hiding the facts.

1. Have a daily meeting with the team to understand problems.
2. Encourage them to do new things irrespective of failures in some scenario.
3. Keep telling words like well done,good job.etc.
4. Get management help in solving their personal issues which results in emotional connectivity within team.
5. Have a lunch / dinner with team at least twice a month.
It is very essential for betterment of organization and professional improvement to Project Manager which results in making Project Manager a LEADER.
