Surpac is very useful ,it covers all discipline,Geology,Ressource Modeling,Mine enginering ,Survey,Production,Surfae and underground ,but there are others softwares also for mining industry.

For opencast mining, SURPAC is very useful. But, there are other softwares also for mining.
