In my opinion entrepreneur and manager both are important for an organisation because the manager cannot be an entrepreneur but an entrepreneur can be a manager and he can do the work of managers as well as an entrepreneur. In developing countries like India need of an entrepreneur is more than a manager because they have resources but they don't know how to utilize their resources for this honourable prime minister of INDIA Narendra Modi ji bring the concept of start-up India. In this they have given many opportunities for those who wish to open up their venture or an enterprise by this employment can be removed so I believe in that entrepreneur is more important than the manager. The manager helps for the companies growth but entrepreneur helps for the overall growth of the country.
Managers should be more than entrepreneurs because,1. While running business entrepreneurs needs managers this indicates that entrepreneurs is not capable of running a business alone he needs more managers.2. I think entrepreneurs only provides financial assets for organization.3. If entrepreneurs have an ability to run a business then why he appoints managers, the same work can also be done by the executive.4. Start up a business is possible but long term assurance is given by managers, not entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneur is fill the gap between need in the business so manager have to manage the organization here manager has to be in his boundaries so entrepreneur have both skills either management skills or entp skills because he is the owner of the company and in any uncertainty period he have to face the risk.
Even manager can take decision but ultimate choice is his higher hierarchy so manager decision is may not final choice, though entrp must have manager skills. Finally my opinion is its interdependent each roll.
