Manager of Restaurant Responsibilities

1. Coordinate the entire restaurant operation

The restaurant manager directs, coordinates and supervises all activities of the restaurant. He is responsible for financial management and the definition of tariffs in the facility. It is also responsible for the recruitment and organization of work of the staff. - The restaurant manager missions vary with the type of restaurant he manages. In an independent restaurant, the Director shall participate, under the authority of the owner of the business, and with the chef in the preparation of dishes on the card. He decides prices displayed according to the annual budget has set itself. Responsible for a chain restaurant, it applies the rules defined by the office of the company. In both cases, it ensures the daily management, developing work schedules staff. It manages human resources, recruiting permanent or seasonal employees. Finally, it ensures the quality of the welcome and ensures customer satisfaction. - The restaurant manager divides his time between his office, the room and the kitchen. When organizing a reception entrusted to him, he can go to his client to settle the details of the event.
