Don't just apply for jobs online. Before applying for any job do your homework as to decide where you want to be.Prepare a well crafted CV.Then target those companies who fit in your list of preferences.Prepare a list of companies in an Excel format..there are a plenty of online excel tools available. This would help you to keep track of your applications. Most importantly followup / call the company / HR department after your application to know the status of your application (may be after a week but not as soon as you apply for a job). Also, try making contacts with friends who already work in companies to refer you / make contacts in professional network like Linkedin....These are something that should help you i think....Good Luck with your Hunt !! :)

Job Hunting; as it suggests; is completely dependent upon skill sets one possesses in his arsenal to offer to the prospective/target industry. The situation for fresh graduates is little bit more tricky and also with a catch 22 as everyone expects some level of real hands on experience; but if fresh engineer hasn't been given an opportunity; how can he earn this most desirable industry experience.

Therefore, the focus for fresh engineer should be to have good handle on at least the core skills of his target industry coupled with set of soft skills which are a must and pre-requisites for all industries. Positive attitude and constructive mind-set are very important to keep oneself motivated through this testing phase.

You only who will hunt a job for yourself, search for any proper opportunity around you, many companies prefer the fresh graduated than others.

If you want get a job, think what you have to gave to the organization, not what you want to get.

In my opinion, reach out to the company you worked with during your Industrial Training as an undergraduate proposing a fairly paid internship of 6 months. First of all, you have to believe you’re a person of value and play the part. Most reliable firms will offer you this opportunity. Again, you can apply for internship jobs with renowned firms. Pay in mind that experience is what you need most at this point and take any offer you get. Learn, practice, work hard during your internship. You can decide to apply for your Masters or take few professional courses and elevate into a specialized phase of Engineering
