Can anybody explain Cat 6 connection of line powered camera with dvr?

As CAT6 or CAT5 cables are 4 core or pair cables. Lan data or camera signal are uses 2 pair, pin configuration is 1236 (12 for data and 36 for RS 485 ), 4578 are use for POE 45 for +ve and 78 for -ve.

Its depends on camera if you are installing an analog camera then you have to install same analog wire with electricity wire which connects with DVR in2 mega there is2 types of ports and2 types of camera one for analog and2nd one for electricity but if you choose an ip camera then there will be one wire to be used to install it and its called Cat6 Cable its attach with NVR

Cat 5 and Cat 6 are both types of twisted pair cable. Basically they both consist of 4 pairs of wires that are twisted around each other for the length of the cable.
