The literal meaning is “The service provider is for customers”. Almost all companies are using the jargons “Customer Centric / Focused” etc., We are all customers in one form or other for something. We are the best judges to confirm whether any company that sold a product / service to us has said Customer is the priority when come to choose between profit and customer.
CEO’s annual pay rise is based on profit made. Is there any company’s ceo got annual pay rise basing CSI? How do we identify which company believes in – “Profit is supplementary”. Speak to the employees who serve you. If the company engaged them positively, the same employee engages the customer too positively.
No matter how good the processes, people or intentions, no company can get it right 100% of the time. If you’re in business, customer concerns are a fact of life. But how fast you resolve the concern when brought to the notice, speaks whether the company is Customer Focused or otherwise.
