In an outdoor dusty conditions, both dome and fixed box cameras are not the suitable option, Thermal CCTV Camera will be a good choice.

Fixed Box Cameras, design for outdoor purpose, the cover box that shade the camera lens helps from dust prevention... beside from dust it helps protect the lens sensitivity from UV ray to get much focus on cameras view

In my opinion the best cameras in a dusty environment are the Selfcleaning Dome Camera types. also be aware that camera domes are to be replaced often if the "dust" is for exaple sand. There are a few "selfcleaning Fixed Box cameras" in the market but a dome always gives you a better view.

fixed camera is not good option, i suggest Dome camera, so that one can view 360' vission

both & bullet cameras also. dome cameras need wall mount & housing which makes bullet some time cheaper & suitable.

outdoor cameras shall be IP66.

there are some features prefered to be in camera, like:sun shielded,D/N,IR,BLC,WDR.

In outdoor condition it is better to install Fixed Box cameras.

I would prefer Bullet cameras with IP66 rating. If not Bullet then ofcourse box camera with IP66 Housing. In case of dusty environment, Housing with wind shield would be much better to clean it automatically.

Dome camera with night vision is ideal but you have to check the proper place to install dome camera either you can install bullet type camera.
