How to find out a person is a good sales profile during telephonic interview in first 3 mns of the conversation?

Start conversation with the most common " Tell me About yourself?" and look for key words related to 'performance' like how he has managed to crack a deal or achieved his quarterly targets.Check why s/he is looking out for a sales job? is it his/her passion to be in sales? or considers this job  just a source of income? check for  positive cues and clues in his Voice modulation as, if anyone tells a lie then certainly either he speaks very low tone  or haphazardly utters words, a very fast pitch or louder than normal.if you find any such clues, then counter question to confirm or re-confirm  and above all, you should have Good intuitive skills to evaluate the person over phone..
