What is your opinion regarding Current situation employment market of Gulf, particularly UAE?

It depends on a host of factors, but generally due to the oil crisis, market is down. However, for professionals with varied specialisations, there is always an opportunity. Be positive and keep improving your skills, you are always a learner, you should not underestimate your ability.

Some key tips for getting jobs:

Keep scanning local newspapers through online sources

Keep updating your resume every day so that its on the top of the pile when recruiters search

Add extra skills that you might have missed in your resume

Plan ahead and change your skills in case its not what the market is looking for based on your areas on interest

Be positive, as pessimism is what kills the motivation to hunt for a suitable job in the first place

Employment rate has decreased till this time but it will depend on your hiring qualities really, just continue applying and stands out at the interview proper, good luck!

In fact, it is very bad, many companies are doing cost cutting method and many job seekers on the market and many of them are jobless even after months of great effort to find a job. but if you reivew job portal like bayt.com and many others are showing huge number of new positions, I think no any appointment is going on, just making job portals to be active by posting many new vacancies. Market is too worse than ever in my knowledge except for three sectors, Hospitals, Schools and necessary food items.
