1-Teacher must read the text once and students have to listen .
2-Then students read and the teacher has to correct their mistakes in pronunciation.
3-Teacher has to ask their students about what did they understand from the text? And if anyone has any information about it? Who agree with the writer? who disagree ?Why?
The teacher is the most important element in a successful reading class ? A good teacher can provide:
1- an anxiety-free environment in which tudents feel comfortable taking risks and trying new ways of reading
2- enough practice so the students can master new strategies
3-friendly pressure in the form of persuation and timing
4- positive examples of how to approach a text
5- a model for the kind of thinking that good reading requires
The role of a teacher in a Reading Class is of utmost importance. In an intensive reading class, which is a course to cultivate the students’ comprehensive abilities of language, his/her role shouldn't be that of a controller and a dominant person, rather he/she should contribute fully as a manager and an organizer of the language teaching class, a designer of the teaching process, a source of teaching material, an investigator and a counselor of students’ learning and a promoter of deepening and confirming the accepted knowledge.
let the teacher read the passage before letting the students read the passage then once student already read the stories the teacher will tell them the right pronunciation of the word immediately the teacher need to correct it. Then the teacher will ask if they understand what they had read and she will ask question about the story and what are their point of view on the topic.
