Is Customer Service affected by racism ?

Yes, unfortunately, largely because the lack of awareness in general

Microsoft Corp. has launched an account via the Twitter site, as a way to show the versatility software company, in the field of artificial intelligence, and engineers to respond to the observers, depends on his reactions, to read the data and information on its fans, but in less than 24 hours, the account sent Tweets offensive and racist, caused the embarrass the company, where he praised Hitler and claimed at the same time his hatred of the Jews, and in one of the tweets said, «that Hitler and George W. Bush after the events of September 11 They do a better job of monkey in reference to Obama, who we now».

 

And Microsoft announced that it halted a artificial intelligence, its own programs, after less than 24 hours, on the launch of a special program account through Twitter.

It may be to some extent, but very little heard about racism in either supplying or purchasing goods and services based on race. A producer or supplier can not deny supplying goods publicly to some sections of the society or customers can not openly refuse to buy goods and services based on race. Normally, producers or sellers of general goods and services do not refuse supplying based on race, but powerful nations on political intentions impose economic sanctions on some countriies which may be seen as threat militarily or otherwise. Moreover, customers can not refuse to buy products ad services based on race or like that if the product has no replacement. For example no one can not refuse to buy miicrosoft products or some social web sites for whatever reasons.

- individual, conscious

- corporate, conscious

- individual, unconscious

Everywhere is affected by Racism. Unfortunately among highly educated; then why not in Customer Service? Yes it is there!

Absolutely. Racism is one of the prominent social evils in the global village today. It limits, hinders and negatively affects businesses, organisations, companies, families, communities or societies. This is a serious ethical issue that needs to be critically adressed for the god of the communuties or societies, organisations & companies because its not healthy & it doesn't take us anywhere.

Can you only imagine how the world would it be if there was no racism ?

Discrimination is the keyword here. For example, the Federal Civil Rights bans the rights that anyone could refuse giving service to a certain race or religion. However, recently in New Mississippi a law came out allowing businesses to refuse service to gays based on religious objection. Now to the discussion question, customer service leads to racism. The more people you deal with, the the increasing number of customer calls, this all leads to general judgement upon a certain race, thinking they're problem makers for example. It's human nature and can only be fixed by self education.

In professoinal world, ideally it should not but unfortunately some people dont have world outside their horizon.
