my name is muhammad assad. i did Bs mathematics (Hons) from kohat university of science and technology kohat kpk.
0.03=3/100
sq root of(0.03)=sq root (3/100)= sq root (3)/10=1.73/10=0.173
fraction0.03 means the integer3 is divided by100 but taking the sq root of a fraction with dinominator100 means taking the sq root of the numerator and divide it with10 that will be obiviously greater than the fraction.
Square of all numbers above1 are greater than the number itself.
Square of all numbers below1 are smaller than the number itself.
Square of1 equals the number itself.
Brother Muhammad Assad
while going for square root of any fraction, first look at the denominator of the fraction like
As per your given decimal value0., if i do write in fraction then it will be like3/
Now if you do
√3/ = √3/√ =1./ =0.
see when i do separate square root of the both numerator and denominator, the denominator reduces more compare to numerator because of greater number so when the value of denominator is greater than numerator, the answer value greater than given fraction (or) decimal value i.e.,0.
Example: square root of small number reduce not more like √3 =1. while square root of greater number reduce more like √ =
Hence answer of given problem is greater
