Britain has voted to leave EU with 64% of the age group (18-24) wanted to Remain; Semi skilled or unskilled voted to Leave; What is your say?

  1. Higher the level of education, higher was the support to Remain with the EU.
  2. Those who must live with the result the longest, wanted to Remain

UK is an unique case inside Western Europe it is not like others ; Traditions, Royal families, laws , Privacies , and other considerations. As Mr. Duncan mentioned the voyage wasn’t pleasant  , and we need to thinking more on the other sides of problems ( Immigration crisis, Refugees crisis , Economic crisis, War against the terrorism, and many other problems been found inside WE recently in France , Germany , Bulgium… The idea of Union is to get benefit e.g :   economic , but UK kept their currency as it is ,and from a while  most of EU people try to re-locate their places , works, residency  towards Britain , which it caused by many loses for original business in there , so the reach to conviction to close this door , and keep their home out of these problems.

Unfortunately the guardians of the future are the knights of the past. The "Bremain" age group was between 18-30 ( and not 24) because they know nothing else, they were born "European Union citizens" they thoght they will conquer the "European Market" in the future and their opportunities were unumerous. The "Brexit" group is mainly consisted of people from a different aera that remember a different Britain that remember how "Great" it was, a Britain before the "Globalization", a Britain that has long died. The "hope" that Britain will return to the "Glories" of the past is the result of this referendum. My personal opinion is that age does not grant wisdom but knowledge and that our children are more aware of the future than we think they are, we should listen more to what they have to say and the last referendum clearly stated that the FUTURE of Britain is a full membership currency and all of the EU. The idea of desiding for our children is old and has brought only problems in the past. "We don't know better!!!" if we did the world would be a paradise and we would not need "Unions" in order to keep prosperity and peace.

First, Let's explain the issue for audiances please.

According to BBC news, A referendum  or a vote in which everyone (or nearly everyone) of voting age can take part  was held on Thursday 23 June, in UK to decide whether the Great Britan should leave or remain in the European Union.

Leave won by 52% to 48%.

The referendum turnout was 71.8%, with more than 30 million people voting. It was the highest turnout in a UK-wide vote .

That  means there is a wide public acceptance that UK would leave the European Union - often known as the EU - is an economic and political partnership involving 28 European countries.

As Greek exit from the EU was dubbed Grexit in the past,  a word  Brexit  has become used as a shorthand way of saying the UK leaving the EU - merging the words Britain and exit to get Brexit, in a same way .

From my view, Brexit would have man Social, Economic and political unintended consequnces and a lot depends on the kind of deal the UK agrees with the EU after exit.

One issue!  what about EU nationals who want to work in the UK? i think that , it depends on whether the UK government decides to introduce a work permit system of the kind that currently applies to non-EU citizens, limiting entry to skilled workers in professions where there are shortages. However the governmnet reminded people that their rights have not changed yet and asked anyone to contact them if they think they have been discriminated against following the Leave vote.

Britain is in shock.  Hardly anybody expected a vote in favour of leaving the European Union.

The campaign was unpleasant and divisive and one Member of Parliament was murdered.  Although the overall vote was relatively close (48% - 52%) some areas were strongly in favour of Leave and others strongly in favour of Remain.  Turnout was high.  The result has been accepted by both the politicians and the people as a whole.  London, a few corners of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland voted to Remain; Wales and most of England voted to Leave.

Nobody knows what happens next or what the consequences will be.
