BUDGET  is an estimation for a specified period

FUND is a amount or resources,  available or provided for a particular purpose

A ) Budget : A budget is a quantitative expression of a plan for a defined period of time( Monthly, Quarterly or Early etc ). It may include planned sales volumes and revenues, resource quantities, costs and expenses, assets, liabilities and cash flows. It expresses strategic plans of business units, organizations, activities or events in measurable terms.

 

B ) Funds : a sum of money saved or made available for a particular purpose/ project. Funding is the act of providing resources, usually in form of money ( Finincing), or other values such as effort or time ( sweat Equity), for a project, a person, a business, or any other private or public institutions. The process of soliciting and gathering fund is known as Fandraising.
