What is the most important part of fire safety on the construction Site?

Strong and effective control is required on the activity which may lead to fire disaster:- such as  All type of hot work, smoking, storage of flamable, good housekeeping, regular inspection and maintenenc of temporary electrical arragement and networks. If there is good control on the above trends you may not meet with fire incident on construction sites.

The most important thing is workers and construction awareness and trainings.

Prevention is the best defense against fire. Good housekeeping helps prevent workplace fires and accident.

According to my point of view  prevention , training and act upon on safety rule  is the best way of  fire safety prevention

There isn't one correct answer, but a list. Lets start with an SIC that is impactful to the workforce (teaching them in their respective languages), then there's the Fire Safety Awareness programmes that need to be delivered and taught, fire fighting training, preparedness of Firewatchmen, using only approved fire screens, hotwork checklists and permits which need to be filled in befor starting any hotworks. Another very important factor is, fire extinguishers must be serviced regilarly and be functional.

Fire safety is a mindset which needs grooming, therefore, nothing beats a good Fire Safety Awareness programme.

Good morning, I don't feel there is one part of fire safety that is the most important. There are many controls that need to be in place that all come together as one. Depending on the type of environment you are currently working in that's your starting point in terms of fire hazards and risks imposed by the activities being performed. in a general construction site where there are no flammable vapours, fumes or product its much easier to identify assess and control fire hazards and risks. usually a workshop area is identified and all hot work / fabrication is conducted in that area. where field work is necessary depending on the budget allowed for safety get all employees performing hot work trained in basic fire fighting. Secondly look at developing a hot work checklist that must be conducted together with Supervision in charge of that area which must be signed off by the HSE officer responsible.
