IoT is gonna be a security catastrophe as I may see. Toasters, washing machines, heaters, TVs connected to network as nodes. With a lot of vulnerabilities and many opportunities for hackers.
And I don't see any signs now that vendors are worried about it.
As explained by experts in detail, IoT has its positives. It is making life easier, flexibility in doing business and managing it with ease of access.
However, it is going to be nightmare for IT Security professionals to deal with it when its' use comes to Corporate level. There is no margin of error while defining and implementing policies controlling IoT in a business. Even it's wide spread use in personal life has its' own repercussion as almost more than 99% people don't know about privacy and secrecy when it comes to using electronic gadgets.
The internet as technology depending on how we can use it? not just in business in all our life we need to deal with this world.
but it is very important into business world if we using it as a correct method for many reasons for example
it is available for 24 hour daily
infinity data, research, details.
makes Communication and research easier.
able work and earn from any where.
Faster financial transaction
the issue at this world inhowslow connection, hackers, viruses, Criminal elements use information to advance their malicious intents.
The IoT is the ability to exchange data and have connectivity with any devices, creature or any object other than tablets, PCs and I -Phones using advanced sensors to collect data & interaction of objects. The implications is full control of the ecosystem, business and human interaction. Governments started shifting their services to the IoT, many governments has just started to develop a microchip for civil IDs and even to install the microchips in the human body.
Ths IoT will empower the globalist power to manage everything through " Big Data" Analytics. Companies and business owners will be easily able to know what you eat, read, and how you spend your money.
The IoT will provide full tracking of inventory, resources and even a tracking of your health! The Microchip will be developed soon to be a "Nanochip" that can be used in medicine, agriculture, and manufacturing.
For example, the Nanochip can be implanted in " Bees" to manage full Agricultural Ecosystem"
The Nanochip in Civil ID can shut down your insurance system or your ability to pay money!
The implication in the governmental sector is more surveillance and the implications on business is more on efficiency , effectiveness, and big data analytics. Business Intelligence will become of vital importance to growth. Economist, marketing, strategist and data analyst will become key future positions to enable companies enable, understand and empower decision making.

Internet in our society today has its positive
Thanks for Invitation
I do agree with Mrs. Hawa
insurance claims is one business that will definitely rip the fruits of IOT for claims and renewals specifically. We have implemented IOT for building inspections (roofs, cracks, etc), fire damage inspections and also agri-business insurance.
Agriculture is another sector that is sure to benefit of it - what is the status of the soil, how much rain is going to spoil the crops, whats the weather like -- how much watering is needed for which part of the field, nitrogen content in soil etc --- the data collected by drone infra-red sensors, drone videos, soil sensors, etc needs to be real time processed to provide the insights which would have earlier taken months.
Delivery services are already disrupted by use of drones, GPS driven drones + infrastructure sensors like red lights, fire services, ambulance services will provide the needed precision of self flying for the drones.
Forest services using drones + sensors for fire threats, detection and prevention. Also to search for any lives in danger.
Internet in our society today has its positive and negative impacts upon us.
The positive part is that:
- It makes Communication and research easier
- You can have possibility to work and earn from home
- Faster and safe financial transaction
- Savings on purchases online
The negative part is taht:
- People become easily addicted to games
- Pornography is accessible to everybody
- The loss of human touch is a reality
- Criminal elements use information to advance their malicious intents
