What is the Best Solution for ping-pong Handovers?

try decrease cell power on one side to another. or try to set HO algoritm when MS get very low Rx power.

For Ping Pong Handover,Please check the following points.

1. Check the neighbour, all neighbour should be defined properly2. Check the drivetest coverage, it could be caused by no dominance server or interference, so adjust antenna is one of the solution3. Parameter consistency check, HO margin, ADJRXLEVELMIN, neighbouring priority GSM DCS, etc. for example HO for DL RxLevel is set to -95 dBm so the AdjRXLEVELMIN should be more than -95 dBm eg -90 dBm

ping pong handover often occurs when there is no dominant cell at that area so you might want to adjust azimuth, height , or tilt ( change power is not recommended ) to cells causing ping - pong to make sure there is only one dominant cell
