To what extent has your engineering background required you to be skilled in the analysis of technical reports or information?

the engineering background is the main key for engineers who keep working in projects and preparing technical & engineering reports

To the extent of getting right analysis to any report or information that I am going to submit or read

The difference between technicians and engineers is that engineers read and analyze but technicians read only. in my case I have to analyze every report I receive and leave my comments in case I have to, mainly in civil engineering we have materials and testing reports, and all these should be analyzed in details.
