Before going on vacation, how early you start planning and how far in advance you finalise your bookings?

Hi... thanks for the invitation... Personally for my own vacations i don't plan at all... i just get my bag ready and take off, do the plan when i reach my destination...

It depends on when I am travelling , if I am travelling during holidays I will start planning minimum 6 months before , and will finalize the bookings three month before at least . but some times we go short vacation at the low or shoulder season we can book 2 or 3 weeks before we go.

earlier for taking the best tarif  also for having good room 

Whether am traveling with a big group or just my husband, I do research well before hand. When you make bookings at least 6 months before you always get good rates and the hotel that you want. For example, I've made 2 vacation plans to the UAE on New Year's eve and as early as May I already narrowed down the hotels and tours because it is peak season. :) You also get a lot of discounts for early bookings. 

you can decide your destination long time before, but for booking it depends from the traffic of that country, but at least one month before to avoid high seasons also

it depends on when you gonna travel,if it will be on holidays time,but usually it be better to start your plan before your travel by 3 months max 6 months.

I should plan well for my vacation.. so I take my time well... It takes about 3 month planning.. You know preparing the Visa, looking for the cheapest destination, looking for the cheapest flight.. looking for the good hotel.. I plan my travel very well and you should do that too

AFTER ACCEPTANCE OF APPROVAL OF VACATION 

Before going on vacation i am planning one month before and for tickets my wife working in a Travel & Tour Co. she is looking after my tickets.

It depends if you want a group tour or tailor made private itinerary, as the group tours as have fixed prices during the year according to the their tours, on the other hand, tailor made itineraries depends on the traveling month if it is during high season or low season  the best thing is to choose the best price offered by travel agent as they trusted sources , you must plan you trip at least six months before travelling date and it will be great if you book your flight first at this early time to get the cheapest flight tickets ,then you choose the best price for tour , as early as you can in case you want to make any amendments in your itinerary if you travel in private tailor made tour. any more information you need please do not hesitate contacting me .
