1. Let myself panic a while 2. Categorize all tasks as high/medium/low priority 3. Analyze all possible solutions and engaged parties cooperation schemes 4. Create clear plan 5. Start work!

I agree with the experts, especially Mr. Walmsley and Mr. Zouheir. But would like to add one more thing to what they've mentioned.

One could contract part of the work to other companies if he thinks that one or more deadlines cannot be met without affecting the quality of work. Of course the contractor will have to work under my company's direct supervision in order to maintain the same expected high work standrds.

Forcast plan and priorities. You will see resouce contention under heavy workload - so your job as manager to create detailed plan and convince your management about resource contention which is being triggered by heavy workload. In real world you may not get what you want but keep them in loop on regular basis on plan and risk assiciated with these projects.

If not going anywhere then you need to pickup the important one's and then get them out of the way - never compromise on QA - do daily catchups.. you will eventually get their.

Plan your activities. Make a rough assessment of priorities and timeframes to complete. Keep the task sponsor informed during the process. If you are not going to make deadline, ensure you update them and negotiate a new deadline.

If you are concerned about your workload, sit with your boss and ask for assistance. Make sure though, you are armed with fact. If you don't, it will reflect your time management skills.

Thank you for the initation.

Once you have listed your tasks, set priorities based on the information you already have. According to priority, have a pipeline of your projects completed one by one, within the deadlines and other constraints. Re-order with your feasible but viable timelines.
