YES VIRUS  CAN BE SENT THROUGH USB DEVICES WHEN THEY ARE PLUG  IN TO THE COMPUTER

Yes anyone can send virus but if you're Computer is protected with Anti-virus, you will know it and you can scan & clean it. Also virus can be get from USB but you will notice it.
