A smile on the face wold be considered as a good credit and motivation.
What you need to do is to do your best continuously and not looking for a reward. Take your duty as a form of Ibadah, In other words, try to find meaning in your work and not just looking for recognition or reward. Whatever duties you do, do it to the best of your ability and you will have no problem whether your boss recognised it or not.
As you are doing the job that means you understand every detail in it. So if there are any miss understanding or any question you will be the one to answer and explain with full understanding. And that mean even if you did not have any credit inside you'll feel full of faith and trust by yourself that you can do it.
Work hold heartedly, the bosses credits will come someday, be yourself, when the company is good and you have a role to play its best you give it the best you have, when you do that the people on top will not go unnoticed.
Now days its common in corporate world so what i suggest you is Publicly claiming credit for the work you do, also known as “tooting your own horn” is not comfortable for most people. Why? Here’s my theory: We’ve all worked with someone who overdid it and was always bragging about their achievements. In response to this, we say to ourselves “I never want to be that person” and cease claiming credit for our work – even in situations where it is appropriate and necessary.
But consider the consequences: Unscrupulous colleagues can seize the opportunity to claim credit, because you’d left it sitting on the table as though it was there for the taking.
Now consider what feels worse: Proactively claiming credit for your major accomplishments, or having that credit taken by someone else. Hopefully you can agree that promoting your achievements is the lesser evil.
So mark each major milestone by stopping work and taking action to attach your name to the result. For example, make an announcement in a meeting or by email such as “Team, I just completed the financial modeling for this quarter and have begun work on next quarter. If you’d like have questions or would like to discuss the results or methodology, please let me know.”
Most people jump to conclusions and think right away that, They are trying to make me look bad or they are only interested in making themselves look good, Instead of making decision or conclusion ask why the credit has not been given. this is straight away give some pressure to your boss to justify that the credit is fully deserve by himself only. But before asking the question you should be prepare about what you have contributed and the same can be highlighted post which for the next time you should be more careful and prepare for your achievement and highlight the same.
My boss want to see me in much confident zone, if I did something good in my work, my responsibility to do that
Giving or getting credit is a matter of personality in my opinion. If your boss is a person that doesn't do that often, it may be because it is outside his/her common shpere. If on the other hand he/she does it in general but excludes you from his/her credit giving list, I believe a kind and short talk whenever you get the chance and see him/her available is in order. During that talk, try to explain how much it would mean to you and the fact that it is a matter of motivation to you.
If that talk leads to a wall, try to continue and do a good job and it will come eventually.

I think such things need not to be informed., boss should have a inbuilt quality of recognizing good work and appreciating otherwise good people leave the organisation due to lack of motivation. So it is not your job to tell him rather he/she being a boss should realize that. Thanks.
just do your job weather you get credit or not , by time you will get that credit
I think it is important for individual motivation to get credit for his/her work and therefore individual should strive to work hard but at the same time do communicate this to your boss by informal chat or in formal appraisal meeting.
Another way is to always appreciate your junior when they have done the good work to set an example for your boss.
If your boss really has leadership skill he or she will understand the situation in no time.
