Working Longer, Uninterrupted Hours
A great aspect of hiring freshers is their ability to work harder and longer without many Personal distractions. Depending on the job requirements,freshers ability to work longer hours may prove to be extremely beneficial for all types of businesses. There’s no question that working more hours increases business efficiency, which is just as import as maintain low overhead costs.
Quick learner
Freshers definitely have the ability to absorb, understand and execute new instructions and training at a much higher rate than older workforce members. Because they are quick learners with the ability to multitask.
For fresh graduates and speaking from personal experience, what got me my first job was mainly extracurricular activities. Volunteering in student clubs & NGOs was really beneficial for me as it exposed me to practical experiences that college alone couldn't provide.
For fresh graduates, what i would recommend , is to research about the company very well & their competitors too, so that you can have a good understanding of this company's market positioning, being a fresh grad with this knowledge would definitely catch the attention of the employer.
Also try to know the company's language A.K.A their jargons and use them in the interview itself, it would give the impression that you would easily fit within the company's enviornment.
Focus on showcasing your personal skills and your strong readiness to learn and learn quickly.
As candidates have their first contact with the company, whether that be through a job ad or the company career site, expectations should be as clear and thorough as possible. Useless jargon, cryptic job titles and vague job descriptions don’t tell the candidate anything except, “Maybe this isn’t the job for you.”
Letting the candidate know what you want should be a theme throughout the hiring process. From when and how to communicate to skill expectations, constant transparency saves time and sanity. And needless to say, if you’re giving them a laundry list of requirements, open up about salary, benefits and culture.
