Don't look down on yourself, my friend. Employers who are posting ads with ridiculuous job experiences might be expecting a senior level manager role or a role in the middle management. Applicants with little experience are expected to be applying for entry level roles. If a company is looking for a candidate with10 years experience for an assistant or entry level roles, then they are being fictional and unrealistic. People like you sir deserve to be given a chance in order for your experience to be developed. Some companies will prefer more experienced individuals because decision making skills and reaction to certain events/issues tend to be more effective with experience, thus high experience requirements should only apply for high positions / managerial positions / or positions that will require significant decision making / judgement skills.

I think one should undertake professional courses which are internationally recognised in order to offset the requirement of experience.

Dear Divine, this is a universal issue I believe every new entrant or student faced. You are100% right that employers are asking for related experience and for youngster this could be an issue. For such cases, when we hire a candidate, we consider that how much internship or related internship he had? Did he opt for the project related to his field? You could volunteer for various projects or role and nowadays various on-line free lance projects are available which you could mention in your resume and convince the recruiters to consider during the hiring process. Look at the example of bayt.com, we are sharing our experience and skills on-line to worldwide and it is beneficial for us in our professional life. Do opt for some intern or projects and increase the chances of employability. Best of luck & Cheers!!
